The heart of RB's new Power Pulse Miata TURBO muffler is a 304 polished stainless steel canister polished and supplied with stainless steel inlet and outlet pipes for maximum durability. For maximum performance potential, this Miata muffler features the same 2.375-inch Straight-Flow internal design configuration as RB's 1990-97 Miata Power Pulse and RX-7 Turbo II exhaust systems. Finished with a 3.5-inch polished 304 stainless steel tip, this large diameter Miata muffler will handle applications from stock to race. Hand-crafted in our Racing Beat production shop, the Miata Power Pulse Turbo Muffler offers a deep, modest exhaust note on turbo 04-05 Miatas, without any harsh, buzzy or droning tones. However, this muffler can be installed on a 1999-05 non-turbo (MT) Miata if you desire a moderately aggressive and loud exhaust tone! Each muffler is supplied with a replacement OEM donut style gasket. Installation can be completed using basic hand tools. Simply unbolt the two retaining nuts, slip the original muffler off the rubber hanger grommets, and then reverse the process for installation of this new Miata Power Pulse muffler! This Miata muffler is emissions legal and meets all California sound level requirements.
