Braided Stainless Steel Clutch Line

Easy to replace, then just bleed the line. Stiffens up the clutch pedal makes it feel great. Especially on track days or canyon runs. Never have to worry about replacing it again unless a meteor hits my engine bay.

Perfect fit. It is a little difficult getting the bottom locked in because of the space that you have to work with, but it looks good. I did this along with the steel braided brake lines and a flush of the system.

I have an early NC with a 6mt that is a little "Notchy" shifting. In addition to installing the Motorcraft fluid, and making sure my clutch pedal was adjusted properly, I recently installed this braided clutch line hoping to help the shifting.

I do believe it helped as the trans now shifts a little smoother. I believe that this braided clutch line does not expand (like the OEM one)when the pedal is depressed, so it puts more of the pedal energy to the clutch slave cylinder and opens the pressure plate possibly a little farther or quicker.

Clutch engagement seems a little more precise too.

Installation was fairly easy. First unhook the top of the OEM line, then the bottom. Install it hooking up the bottom first, then the top.

Note if you have A/C in your Miata, this seems to be too short to hook up. Do not run this thru the loop the OEM one runs thru, Leave it rest on the A/C hose so it will have some extra length to be able to hook up the top.
