Racing Beat Rear Chassis Brace

The Racing Beat-design Rear Lower Control Arm Brace is intended for 1990 through 1991 1/2 Miata chassis. This brace will also fit the 1999-05 Miata chassis with no modifications required. While it can be installed on other Miata chassis, substantial cutting effort, to facilitate clearance, is required to modify the attachment points used for the stock brace found on these chassis. The goal was to design a brace that "boxed- in" the rear control arm mounts and provide a complete "four-point" mounted brace. This design offers additional chassis stiffening over a simple -two-point- brace.Racing Beat's Lower Control Arm Brace is laser-cut from 14-gauge mild steel, machine-formed, and MIG-welded to produced an assembly that is both rugged and attractive. The brace is powder-coated to virtually eliminate corrosion and requires only basic hand tools to install. BRIAN'S FITMENT NOTES: This item has a precise and rather small hole for the exhaust to pass...we suggest use of this brace ONLY with Racing Beat exhausts and the stock exhaust.
