RoadsterSport MX5 Miata Carbon Fiber Hardtop

RoadsterSport NC Carbon Fiber Hardtop! Real hand laid carbon fiber. Includes rear non-glass "Optix" shatterproof lexan window. This price is $1000 less than the heavy factory hardtop...yet gorgeous and much less weight. The goal was max weight savings and weight is just over 15 pounds....which means this top is about 40 pounds less than the 55 pound factory hardtop! Does NOT include any factory mounting hardware, latches, liner, or rear edge gasket. Made for track users BUT it does include ALL the threaded inserts on the underside that the factory top includes. What that means is that ANYTHING you can attach to the underside of the factory top you can attach to this top if you want. If you want factory latches, plastic liner bits, and rear seal, you can order them at your local dealer and install them. We expect the track guys won't bother, and will simply make their own simple and light aluminum brackets for front connection and use heim joint links to connect the side as we did with our NC LIGHT project (see forum). There is UV protection in the clear gel coat but we recommend that cars parked outside either add a clear coat or paint to match car. This is far too big for UPS or FED EX package services and needs to ship TRUCK FREIGHT....expect ship costs roughly $300, give or take, to US locations (website will NOT accurately calculate and we will fix receipt).
