DESCRIPTION
These are the patented design McGard Spline Drive lugs. Non-hex wheel lug which is both a light weight lug with more gripping surface area than the stock lug (to prevent lossening up under load), and a wheel lock.
This is for a set of 16 spline lugs and one tool. If you look really close at the picture above you can actually see the two piece nature of this lug by looking into the lug at the bottom of the picture.
The part that touches the wheel (the "seat") stops turning and a bearing between that little ring and the rest of the lug allows the outer part of the lug to keep turning.
What this means for you is that the lugs are not grinding against the surface of your nice new wheels and these lugs go on much smoother than any other lug choice. If you ask what is on our Miatas here...this is the choice. These fit ALL the wheels we sell and STOCK wheels too!
NOTE: McGard recommends against using an impact gun with this spline drive tool. On our own cars with the McGard spline drive lug nuts, we do use a gun just to spin the nuts on and off faster than by hand, but we always do the final tightening of the lugs and the initial breaking loose of the lug nuts BY HAND.

I like the idea of the two part lug nut where the base will stop turning and not damage the wheel. The splines are almost like wheel locks in that they are not a common nut and not everyone will have one with them. With the Konig Hypergrams with machine lips it really adds a little color balance.
Add a very subtle improvement over regular nuts. A bit of added safety, too!
High quality, perfect fit. I'll be buying an extra tool to keep one in the car and one in the toolbox.
I Love these things! They seat to the wheel without scratching, just brilliant! The tool is lightweight and super easy to use. The lugs look fantastic on the Konig Rewind wheels. Best lugs EVER!
Great lug nuts work as they should do not scratch wheels.

These spline drive lug nuts are high gloss crhome they look great and the bearing seats work perfectly. After being torked don they did not scratch my new wheels so they stay nice. Super impressed with this product and Good-win racing was the only place i could find them without the wheel locks which i did not want so this is a great package. I would deffinitly recommend these to all my friends.
