Don't confuse these with the lighter RP-F1, this is the pretty face version of the famous RP-F1 and the extra parts to dress it up add several EXTRA pounds of weight. Still reasonable at 22 pounds for 18x8.5 but not near as light as the straight RP-F1. Fantastic Enkei quality, two piece construction. The M.A.T process used in construction has a drastic impact on the micro structure of aluminum and results in outstanding improvement of the mechanical property of the material comparable with forging at much lower cost. The process of spinning the rim under pressure allows Metal Flow in the rim part. The control of the metal flow in the rim section results in finer molecular structure without sacrificing the wheels strength and rigidity.
