Engineered and designed by Racing Beat, this Aluminum Flywheel noticeably improves acceleration in the lower gears and makes shifting smoother by reducing the flywheel inertia by roughly half. The flywheel has a heat-treated, and replaceable steel friction surface for long life, and the ring gear is bolted in place for added security.

Although a lightweight aluminum flywheel is traditionally considered a high performance or racing part, these flywheels are well-suited for street use. Only a slight adjustment of your clutch engagement technique is required to master the art of driving with this flywheel.

Combine this flywheel with a Racing Beat pressure plate and clutch disc for the ultimate combination. Flywheel weight for the 1994-05 Miata is reduced from 19 pounds to approximately 9 pounds. These flywheels directly interchange with the stock clutch parts.
