These are dynamically balanced after slotting to ensure vibration-free use at high speed. Advanced curve vanes between the rotor halves cool much more efficiently than stock or other replacements for improved cooling. The slots wipe away the white-hot boundary layer from the disc and pad to increase braking efficiency, particularly in wet conditions. The rotor is painted using an "electro-deposition" process for the very best in rust prevention.

INSTALL NOTES: Be aware of the following. The OE bracket is "as casted" and not a precise machined component, and that means a potential rub on the very tips of the hat/rotor bolts as shown below. A few customers experienced interference, you should check this possible interference right after installation. If it does happen you should correct it by removing the extra material from the OEM cast bracket (hand rasp/file will do quick work of it), rather than on the fastener studs. It s easier to correct just one place which will also avoid the needed correction in the future when a new rotor ring is replaced. Making sure hub is clear of all rust and dirt before the rotor slides on will also help avoid this.
