BRIAN'S APPLICATION NOTES:

This is a top choice for track and autocross for the NC Generation Miata. Works great as MX5 CSP or STR class autocross Miata race wheel. Requires a mild fender lip roll to fit 235/40/17 or 245/40/17. Worth the effort for an amazing amount of grip for a very LOW weight and high strength...see pictures in wheel gallery section of our forum. This 17x9 is a popular choice for both Mazda MX5 and Honda S2000.

MAT Technology

The Enkei Most Advanced Technology (M.A.T) process combines one-piece cast wheel technology with a rim forming spinning process. Using this rim forming M.A.T process improves material strength dramatically as compared with normal cast wheels. Rim-Rolled technology shapes the rim to improve material elongation without sacrificing the wheels hardness.

SPEC-E

All Enkei wheels are engineered to pass rigorous testing. In fact, Enkei established its own test standard called "Spec-E," which is tougher than JWL requirements. Enkei s Spec-E test setting requires a higher drop point in the impact test and 20% more cycles for the rotary bending fatigue and dynamic radial fatigue tests than JWL standards.The Spec-E represents Enkei s confidence in its technology and quality of Enkei wheels.
