On this system you are getting both the final muffler section and a PARTIAL replacement of the stock midpipe BUT you will need to CUT the stock midpipe after the converter to install this choice. This exhaust system will then slip fit over the cut pipe. On all other systems we sell for 2006+ the exhaust bolts up to the stock midpipe flange. Ships Factory Direct, allow at least one week to process order. So, you get a little more than the other muffler only choices we have, but it takes a little more work!
INSTALLATION NOTE!!! This is the only NON-BOLT on system we have for 06+ Miatas, install involves using a hacksaw to cut your factory midpipe in half, please don't order this system unless you are ready for that.
BRIAN'S Notes: We offer the Magnaflow but it is a rare choice because it is not a bolt up choice. You hacksaw factory midpipe in half to install the Magnaflow, and customers find their options a bit limited later if they want to take the next stage with full header and full diameter midpipe. As for sound, their use of Rockwool packing is very efficient at sound control but kills all the upper frequency fun notes. Thus, I find the Magnaflow a bit monotonous on tone but volume control is excellent.
