Love this tire! We use this as a Miata daily driver tire for those that want something VERY aggressive on their Miata. If you are a hard charging driver then you will love this tire too! This tire dominates the street tire classes of SCCA autocross and is our recommendation for the Miata owner that needs a tire that can perform on the street, the track, and for autocross. An amazing combination of grip in both dry and wet. And here's a surprise, unlike the old Azenis 215 version, this new 615Rt version actually rides BETTER than most performance tires. For the owner that wants something that can go from street to autocross to track and all the way home, this is our recommendation. But, there is no free ride and aggressive drivers can expect this soft compound tire to last no more than about 10,000 miles. NOTE that if you order just wheels they ship SAME DAY you order but if you order tires it can easily add four or five days to the order to allow for obtaining the tire and mounting and balancing, etc. BRIAN'S MX5 MIATA APPLICATION NOTES: Note that this 215/45/17 size is just slightly taller than stock diameter at 24.7 inches compared with 24.3 inches for the stock tires. This works well for the 6 speed owners but many 5 speed owners will prefer the slightly shorter than stock 215/40/17.
