RACE valved for spring rates of 13kg front, 8kg rear

Updated product for 2010, super light-weight design with a majority of the parts in aluminum and on top of that all shocks have proven through extensive corrosion tests according to ISO 9227. The end result is a 2-year warranty on all of the Ohlins products - worldwide. Ohlins has lead the way for suspension design in the world of motorsports for decades.

This package comprises EXTREMELY LIGHT aluminum bodied, mono tube design shocks, with 25 clicks of adjustment. The beauty of the Ohlins is not only will your MX5 Miata handle better, be easier to drive at the limit, but it will also ride better than stock. Application Notes from Brian: I have used Ohlins for decades in my motorcycles and have always been pleased with the ability of this brand to provide both great handling and great ride quality and the Ohlins MX5 Miata coilover kit continues this tradition. The ride is nearly stock-like yet far less busy.

Handling is more controlled light years beyond stock...we set top time of day in our local autocross on our first day out with these installed....simply amazing. Picture is of our NC version, the NA/NB kits include pillow ball top mounts at both ends! Exactly the same kit as the H/A version except with the DFV dual valving technology (see perfect shock dyno printouts in our forum).

Optional Travel Extending Top Mounts, item 61-3480 on this site, can be used to further improve ride quality over rough bits of road with this setup.

BRIAN'S APPLICATION INSTALL NOTES: You get EIGHT SPRINGS, TWO COMPLETE sets of springs with this kit. You get the yellow Ohlins springs shown in picture which are rates of 80 NM front (about 8KG/mm or 457 lb/in) and 60 NM rear (about 6Kg/mm or 342 lb/in). AND...we include a set of HIGHER rate ultra light SWIFT RACE SPRINGS in rates of 13KG front, and 8KG rear (NOT SHOWN IN PICTURE!). We re-valve the shocks for the higher rate springs but you can still use the lower rate springs if you like (the softer springs are great for ROUGH track and autocross surfaces).

Race revalving is done to order. Please allow at least 3 weeks, in addition to normal transit time.
