Your factory brace looks about the same but is heavy tubular steel...this replacement is all ALUMINUM.

Unlike the MazdaSpeed unit, this Beatrush version is properly designed to clear the adjustment knobs of popular adjustable shocks and coilovers. Note that this brace replaces the less attractive steel brace on cars so equipped BUT owners of the new Miata which did not come with any brace from the factory will need an additional mounting kit (Part number 60-1238) that is also available on this website.

Beatrush products are produced by Laile after extensive testing on race tracks in Japan. Each Beatrush brace is designed to improve the responsiveness of the MX5 NC Miata platform with quality, strong, and yet light weight bolt on parts.

Fits all 06+ Mazda Miata MX-5 (NCEC). Light Weight, Strong, and Rigid. Track tested for functionality.

BRIAN'S FITMENT NOTES: If you have adjustable shocks which don't fit well with the MazdaSpeed brace then this brace is a choice for you.

Note this brace DOES NOT FIT WELL WITH AC lines on US cars...it comes very close to the air conditioning lines on the driver's side and requires the air conditioning line brackets be modified/bent and protected with some fuel hose...PLEASE DO NOT order this brace if you will have an issue with this part of the installation..
