Your factory brace looks about the same but is heavy tubular steel...this replacement is all ALUMINUM. Unlike the MazdaSpeed unit, this Beatrush version is properly designed to clear the adjustment knobs of popular adjustable shocks and coilovers. Note that this brace replaces the less attractive steel brace on cars so equipped BUT owners of the new Miata which did not come with any brace from the factory will need an additional mounting kit (Part number 60-1238) that is also available on this website.
