TOYO R888 track day tires as used on our MazdaSport Magazine Project RX8. The R888 uses a unique semi-slick shoulder area, continuous center contact, and enhanced R compound combined with the V-shaped tread design make the R888 ideal for road racing, track days, and high-performance driving schools. For competition the R888 improves over the RA1 with improvements in casing and tread design for better dry performance, while maintaining wet traction and control. The R888 provides consistent performance throughout the life of the tread.
