Miata MX5 NC PASSENGER Side Rail for RACE SEATS :: 2006-2011

Finally, a convenient way to get race seats into your NC. These are laser cut steel rails that are custom made to match the holes in the floor of your NC that mount that factory seat. They are also drilled for Sparco sliders but can be adapted to most race seats.

BRIAN'S Application notes: Most drivers use these with a combination of ALL THREE of the following: Sparco seats, Sparco side mounts, and Sparco sliders (rails are pre-drilled for Sparco sliders). In my own 2007 I skip the slider because that gets me another half inch lower in the car but that meant I drilled additional holes to get the side mounts directly onto these rails.

INSTALLATION PREP: These are laser cut from steel and sent still raw...not painted or powder coated because many customers will be welding eyelets for a snap in harness setup. That means they may arrive with a petina of rust already starting, and they should be cleaned up with a little steel wood and hit with quick coat of spray paint before install if you are not going to weld eyelets to them.
