Recommended Use: High Performance Street, Autocross, Racing " for applications where quick shifting response is required. "

Exedy/Daikin Clutch is one world's largest supplier of both stock OEM and performance aftermarket clutch components.

This complete Exedy Stage 2 clutch kit for the Miata includes a 3-puck sprung hub, cerametallic compound disc (215mm OD), upgraded pressure plate, replacement throw out bearing, pilot bearing, and a clutch installation alignment tool. The S Metal Disc utilizes low gravity, T5001 Carborich cerametallic material for outstanding heat dissipation and performance.

This kit is ideally suited for performance-modified Miatas, and the pressure plate features a 1455 lb pressure plate-clamping load.

Combine this clutch kit with a Lightweight Miata Aluminum Flywheel. If you thought running through the gears in your Miata was fun before, just wait until you install a lightweight flywheel! To minimize the installation effort and cost, seriously consider installing your new flywheel during the clutch replacement. This is a complete kit at a super price! If you are considering replacing your clutch assembly with an aftermarket kit, the Exedy components offer a super combination of performance and value.

Packaged only as a set, these components are not available separately. Photo shown may not be specific to this application. With any cerametallic clutch system, there will be some compromise of start up drivability as compared to a stock clutch (chatter on light throttle, low rpm start up). This characteristic is generally felt to be acceptable in modified performance cars. Exedy 10903

After reading many other positive reviews on both the GWR and Miata forums I finally decided to buy this product. My main concern for many months was whether or not I was up to the task of installing the header. But with the excellent instructions on Brian's forum as well as several Miata forum threads it turned out easier than I expected. After receiving notice that the header would arrive on a Friday afternoon, I began the disassembly process. After about 3 hours I had the stock manifold out. Later that afternoon the new catted header arrived right on schedule. And it is a thing of beauty. I opted for the stainless version. Installation on Saturday morning took another 3 hours, although I could have shaved some time off of that but I was actually enjoying the process of double checking torque values and cleaning up my engine compartment. I already have the GWR catted midpipe, so that connection was a snap. I put everything back together, reconnected my battery, and went for a drive. NO CODES! Nice throaty sound with my RSII muffler, and a significant boost in power and low/mid torque. Another happy camper here. I since have added a M-E tune and I feel I have realized all of the gains that Brian has achieved on his 2012 project Miata. I've put several hundred miles on my Miata since the install with zero problems. This is the car that Mazda should have built all along. Thanks Brian.

Thanks for making this work and providing great customer service! I had a full weekend with the install, but man was it worth it. The flywheel was such a good choice. I can't believe how much easier rev-matching down shifts are. The ACT is surprisingly easy to live with, even with the engagement point very low. I'll tackle that when it stops raining. Thanks again for making this happen this weekend.
