Thank you. You have rated this product.

Price is for one rotor.

The T3 4000 Series rotor's key feature over the Street T2 series is the XG150 High Carbon Alloyed Iron which minimizes warping and cracking and prolongs the service life of the rotors. This makes them suitable for hard use both on the road and race track.

As with every DBA rotor, the 4000 Series rotor bolts right onto the vehicle with no mechanical changes needed.

Features Thermal Stability Profiling (TSP) for improved heat handling and Thermo-Graphic paint markings for heat monitoring. The thermo-graphic markings are placed on the outer edge of each DBA 4000 series disc rotors and are used to monitor the core temperatures achieved during braking application. The markings change color as the rotor heats up to alert the driver to rotor temperatures that exceed optimum levels.

DBA's unique advantages increase the disc rotor's efficiency by as much as 20% when compared to conventional rotor designs. A 20% increase in disc rotor efficiency directly translates to reduced brake operating temperatures, brake fade, disc rotor stresses, disc thickness variation, run-out and shudder.

All 4000 series rotors also benefit from DBA's "Longlife Slotted" design. The rotors are manufactured to QS-9000 quality standards using premium grade materials with a high iron content and dense metal matrix resulting in long wear and safe, consistent stopping power.

* Unidirectional slotting increases pad bite, reduces fade and delivers exceptional braking performance.
* Slots continually de-glaze the brake pads improving efficiency and reducing rotor scoring.
* Slots even out wear across the brake pad faces, increasing the effective contact area and extending rotor life.
* DBA's patented Kangaroo Paw internal structure features diamond-shaped pillars that provide increased surface area and greater heat dissipation, minimizes brake fade and increases braking effectiveness.

Fits ALL SPORT size front 01-05 (10.6 Inch).

After reading many other positive reviews on both the GWR and Miata forums I finally decided to buy this product. My main concern for many months was whether or not I was up to the task of installing the header. But with the excellent instructions on Brian's forum as well as several Miata forum threads it turned out easier than I expected. After receiving notice that the header would arrive on a Friday afternoon, I began the disassembly process. After about 3 hours I had the stock manifold out. Later that afternoon the new catted header arrived right on schedule. And it is a thing of beauty. I opted for the stainless version. Installation on Saturday morning took another 3 hours, although I could have shaved some time off of that but I was actually enjoying the process of double checking torque values and cleaning up my engine compartment. I already have the GWR catted midpipe, so that connection was a snap. I put everything back together, reconnected my battery, and went for a drive. NO CODES! Nice throaty sound with my RSII muffler, and a significant boost in power and low/mid torque. Another happy camper here. I since have added a M-E tune and I feel I have realized all of the gains that Brian has achieved on his 2012 project Miata. I've put several hundred miles on my Miata since the install with zero problems. This is the car that Mazda should have built all along. Thanks Brian.
