To understand this Miata Brace please see our rollbar installation threads in the installation section of our forum. With any of our quick change rear support designs there is additional load to be spread from the rear mounts. The quick change bars include upgraded reinforced vertical mounts in the trunk...and this brace ties those positions side to side. The benefit is both better support and load transfer in case of roll over....AND better rear suspension response from boxing and stiffening the rear shock tower area.

Brace is powder coated silver (picture below are original raw prototype.
