DESCRIPTION
Carbon Fiber Adjustable MX5 Wing by APR Performance.When properly mounted on the rear of your Miata, a wing can generate large amounts of downforce, increasing the amount of tire grip available on the road. This increased grip allows you to carry higher speeds through turns.
This GTC-200 wing is composed of lightweight and durable carbon fiber composite. Supporting this MX5 carbon fiber wing are 10 mm aircraft grade 6061 billet aluminum pedestals that come in a flat black powdercoat finish, with turn-buckles to adjust the wing's pitch. This is a full MX5-specific kit for 2006-2015.
NEW 2nd generation GTC-200 airfoil is 60.5" wide with a height of 10". This wing offers substantial downforce at the speeds seen on the track, and can enable lower lap times even for naturally aspirated, low power miatas.
The GTC-200 is a "3D" wing, meaning that the center section has a different angle than the outer section angle. This makes the best use of the air traveling around and over the car. It also means that you don't have to install your wing high above your roof line for it to be effective.
RYAN'S NOTES: This wing's adjustability makes it a great match for a wide variety of front-end aero on a miata. At a shallow (horizontal) angle it pairs well with mild additions such as a front lip spoiler or canards. At steeper angles it produces enough downforce to balance a racing front airdam and/or small splitter.

This wing is hot. Suggest a tailor's measuring tape (one that is just like a rope) since the NC trunk contours downwards. Very easy install. Suggest building the brackets off the car and slide them through trunk, get lock nuts down to barely touching trunk bottom, then slide the wing on, do same (lock nuts barely touching) to the wing mounting to bracket, then tighten the bracket to trunk bolts down, then the wing to bracket bolts down.
DO NOT FORGET THE LITTLE GASKETS THE KIT PROVIDES YOU!!!!!!!! :)
I have the risers, also install these onto the brackets off the car (which I highly suggest, gives the wing WAY more useable downforce)
MEASURE 3 TIMES DRILL/CUT ONCE. Instructions say to drill with a 7mm, as always purchase a center punch ($4 from Harbor Freight) and drill a pilot hole first. Start with 1/4" or 3mm. The NC trunk is VERY thin. Any drill can do it.
