F1 Racing Lightweight Chromoly Miata Flywheel
The F1 Racing lightweight chromoly Miata flywheel is a fun performance upgrade over a stock flywheel.

Lightweight flywheels provide significantly improved throttle response and acceleration by enabling torque to be transmitted to the wheels faster. The chromoly steel material allows for a high heat capacity and strength, preventing your clutch disc from overheating under extreme use.

Weight is 10 lbs (90-93 Miata stock flywheel is 17.5 lbs). Does not include new hardware, most customers re-use the factory bolts.

BRIAN'S APPLICATION NOTES: Yes, our Fidanza, ACT and Exedy flywheels are MUCH higher quality, these F1 units are for folks on the budget that won't support more. YES, you get what you pay for and we do recommend our more precise ACT, EXEDY and FIDANZA flywheel choices if your budget will support it. Unlike the ACT and EXEDY choices we keep on shelf, the F1 clutch kits go direct from the manufacturer, allow as much as a week to ship.

Thanks for making this work and providing great customer service! I had a full weekend with the install, but man was it worth it. The flywheel was such a good choice. I can't believe how much easier rev-matching down shifts are. The ACT is surprisingly easy to live with, even with the engagement point very low. I'll tackle that when it stops raining.
