This Complete Miata Prothane Urethane Bushing Kit is an amazing value and our most popular choice for replacement of the Miata suspension bushings.

. One of the components of your Miata that suffers silently with age is the rubber in the suspension bushings. Over time, they break down and allow more movement of the control arms. This makes your Miata feel sloppy and old. This Prothane polyurethane bushing set replaces just about every piece of rubber in the Miata suspension. Poly bushings move differently than rubber ones, allowing less deflection and no pre-loading. This means more precise and consistent handling, with a slight increase in sharp impacts. Includes new bushings for the Miata control arms and differential mounts. It also includes new bushings for stock Miata sway bars and end links. Installation is not trivial and will require a press.

Supplied with over 30+ different components, this comprehensive kit includes the following items: front and rear sway bar bushings (for use on the stock sway bars only), front sway bar retaining clamps, front and rear endlink bushings, rear differential mounting bushings, and front and rear upper and lower control arms. Also included are replacement sleeves where required, and lubricating grease packets. All bushings are RED colored and sleeves are yellow zinc plated steel. The sway bar bushings included in the kit are intended for use with the Mazda stock sway bars only. Bushings fit 1990-2005, although the sway bar bushings are for the 1990-97 end links. The front sway bar bushings fit just the stock 19mm front bar.

Sean's Installation Notes:

Having gone through this process from start to finish, I must stress the importance of a shop press. Due to the double wishbone design on our Miatas, there are A LOT of bushings to remove. Using other methods, torch or DIY tools, will add to an already time consuming project. Highly recommened to find a friend with a press OR purchase a Harbor Freight shop presses. Harbor Freight presses are an excellent value and can be purchased with Habor Freight's frequent 20% off coupons.

Brian, just wanted tyou to know you've got another highly satisfied customer. I got my RoadstersportIII muffler on Friday, installed it in 20 minutes, looks and sounds awesome. I like the baffles out!! My new tires/wheels came Saturday, just got them on and test drove them. Fantastic!! And how they look--- just what I was after. I will add the front "mud flap" that looks like the rear one, for some stone protection, but the offset was just what I was working for. I'd love to send you some pictures for your photo gallery. If you'll send an adress via e-mail, I'll send some high-res photos showing clearances and side profiles, etc. The graphite spokes and polished rims really set well on my black car.
