Thank you. You have rated this product.

OPL Miata Radiator. BIG 2 inch thick all aluminum radiator with BEEFY 10 year warranty and a BARGAIN price! All aluminum TIG welded radiator...10 year warranty!

If you have large tubular aftermarket sway bars note that you will need to trim the fan housings slightly because this thick core Miata radiator will push the fan housings back to the location of the OEM sway bar and aftermarket bars are thicker! And if you have A/C you will need to bend brackets for the A/C condenser to make room for this monster size radiator.

Does NOT have cooling line connections for Automatic transmission cars. Thus, cars with Automatic transmissions can use this unit but will need separate trans cooler.

BRIAN'S FITMENT NOTES: We installed these here first before offering them to customers in our online store so we could check the fit. This is NOT the quality of the KOYO, it is obviously hand welded, got some rough edges, does not fit near as precisely as the KOYO....but it does install and it does give you a BARGAIN price on a big radiator over 2 inches thick! So, think of it as same specs as our BIG KOYO R series for 50% less cost....and a LONGER warranty too! Not in shop for pickup, these drop ship to you from OPL direct.

REVIEWS

After reading many other positive reviews on both the GWR and Miata forums I finally decided to buy this product. My main concern for many months was whether or not I was up to the task of installing the header. But with the excellent instructions on Brian's forum as well as several Miata forum threads it turned out easier than I expected. After receiving notice that the header would arrive on a Friday afternoon, I began the disassembly process. After about 3 hours I had the stock manifold out. Later that afternoon the new catted header arrived right on schedule. And it is a thing of beauty. I opted for the stainless version. Installation on Saturday morning took another 3 hours, although I could have shaved some time off of that but I was actually enjoying the process of double checking torque values and cleaning up my engine compartment. I already have the GWR catted midpipe, so that connection was a snap. I put everything back together, reconnected my battery, and went for a drive. NO CODES! Nice throaty sound with my RSII muffler, and a significant boost in power and low/mid torque. Another happy camper here. I since have added a M-E tune and I feel I have realized all of the gains that Brian has achieved on his 2012 project Miata. I've put several hundred miles on my Miata since the install with zero problems. This is the car that Mazda should have built all along. Thanks Brian.

Thanks for making this work and providing great customer service! I had a full weekend with the install, but man was it worth it. The flywheel was such a good choice. I can't believe how much easier rev-matching down shifts are. The ACT is surprisingly easy to live with, even with the engagement point very low. I'll tackle that when it stops raining. Thanks again for making this happen this weekend.
