DESCRIPTION

Our favorite performance street brake pad. Fits the front Brembo calipers in the Club model ND.

The "S" is for street. They work great for street/autocross and light track duty. They dust a bit but are easy on rotors. Much better than factory pads for high performance use. For more serious race duty try the Porterfield R4-1 and R4.

Carbon Kevlar construction. One set needed for front. Does not include replacement springs, clips, etc.

This pad is made to order, please allow on week.

Porterfield R4S - STREET Front MX-5 Club Brake Pads

For street use and during autox runs, I've had zero issues with these pads. They bite very well and have worked great for me. I will note, I bled them continuously not realizing how soft the pedal feels with these pads, but it maintained proper brake pressure and felt great. While on track, I did begin to have brake fade after ~4 or 5 laps, so if you plan to track the car, I'd recommend upgrading to a track pad over these, but otherwise they've been amazing.

Pro:
Pads last forever
Cons:
I did not like the initial bite and never really felt confident in hard braking on track. Requires HARD pressure on pedal to lock up wheels, particularly when I upgraded to 200 treadwear tires. Noisy but fine on the street.
