Thank you. You have rated this product.

Our Techna-Fit Fiat 124 brake line kits come complete with all of the fittings and bolts for easy assembly. Techna-Fit high performance stainless braided brake lines eliminate the mushy pedal feel you get when your OEM Fiat 124 rubber lines expand. All of Techna-Fit's assemblies are assembled in-house, meeting D.O.T. Certification.

Techna-Fit Fiat 124 brake lines are made using teflon hose. The teflon hose has an extruded teflon core, with an outer stainless steel braided wire covering. The chrome or zinc plated steel fittings are then permanently crimped on each end.

All Techna-Fit hoses have a PVC cover, which gives added protection from flying debris; it also gives some abrasion protection from the line rubbing on suspension parts, in extreme braking conditions, with full compression (most movement of line). One advantage is that Techna-Fit Fiat 124 brake lines reduce volumetric expansion. Over time and under continuous use, OEM MX5 rubber lines can swell and expand, exposing the driver to brake fade. The rubber cover is also vulnerable to attacks from the ozone layer (rubber deteriorates and causes failure).

In extreme applications (auto x, racing, hard driving) rubber Fiat 124 Brake line hoses might be susceptible to debris, thus causing failure. Stainless steel hoses provide some added protection from these issues. All Techna-Fit's factory assembled Fiat 124 brake line kits are backed by their lifetime warranty. Sorry, don't yet know if these work with the Brembo calipers.

Good morning Brian, I finally got a chance to put the exhaust on, great advice, it's just loud enough, solid product. I'm running without the baffles, sounds great in power band. Take care, you have all my future upgrade business.........regards.

After reading many other positive reviews on both the GWR and Miata forums I finally decided to buy this product. My main concern for many months was whether or not I was up to the task of installing the header. But with the excellent instructions on Brian's forum as well as several Miata forum threads it turned out easier than I expected. After receiving notice that the header would arrive on a Friday afternoon, I began the disassembly process. After about 3 hours I had the stock manifold out. Later that afternoon the new catted header arrived right on schedule. And it is a thing of beauty. I opted for the stainless version. Installation on Saturday morning took another 3 hours, although I could have shaved some time off of that but I was actually enjoying the process of double checking torque values and cleaning up my engine compartment. I already have the GWR catted midpipe, so that connection was a snap. I put everything back together, reconnected my battery, and went for a drive. NO CODES! Nice throaty sound with my RSII muffler, and a significant boost in power and low/mid torque. Another happy camper here. I since have added a M-E tune and I feel I have realized all of the gains that Brian has achieved on his 2012 project Miata. I've put several hundred miles on my Miata since the install with zero problems. This is the car that Mazda should have built all along. Thanks Brian.
