Thank you. You have rated this product.

The Gen 4 15x7 SM has been optimized specifically for the Spec Miata racing series with a thicker outer flange and thicker inner barrel to handle the special abuse of wheel to wheel banging that happens in Spec Miata Racing. This version is hub centric for the 89-05 Miata.

This wheel is 2.5lbs heavier than our standard 15x7 with a special offset just for Spec Miata Racing and lowest legal weight for the class at 13.1 pounds. 15x7

Brian's Application Notes: Racers loved the original 6UL Spec Miata wheel and it won the 2008 runoffs and they sold used for MORE than original prices. Long term feedback from that original design resulted in this new ultra strong 'gladiator' version. The wheel these are based on is roughly 10.6 lbs so they had the luxury of choosing exactly where to put the extra 2.5 lbs of material necessary to meet legal Spec Miata minimum weight so it actually helps Spec Miata owners win races and seasons on budget. The barrel and flange area are nearly twice as thick as a regular 6UL wheel with the sole focus being to increase the wheel resistance to the specific type of damage typical in Spec Miata.

Thanks for making this work and providing great customer service! I had a full weekend with the install, but man was it worth it. The flywheel was such a good choice. I can't believe how much easier rev-matching down shifts are. The ACT is surprisingly easy to live with, even with the engagement point very low. I'll tackle that when it stops raining. Thanks again for making this happen this weekend.
