DESCRIPTION

The Hypergram is a lightweight 16.3 pound, 12-spoke design that is motorsport inspired in its construction, appearance and its ability to clear many big brake cars and upgrades! Utilizing Flow Forming Technology allows the Hypergram to be lighter and stronger than competitors in this weight class, 700kg (1543 lbs) in this size! With a large range of aggressive sizing the Hypergram is finished in either Matte Grey or Race Bronze.

Wheels Specs:
*17x8
*5x114
*45mm offset
*73.1mm bore.

Brian's Fitment Notes: Recommended max street fitment of our popular Hypergrams, fits stock fenders with 205mm, 215mm or even 225mm wide tires. For 235/40 need light fender roll and/or sufficient negative camber like -1.8 or more all around depending on particular tire choice. Tight lug pocket means we suggest our various tuner lug upgrades with these wheels, such as our McGard Spline Drive Lugs.

Konig Hypergram 17x8 5x114 Matte Grey +45

Wheels arrived super fast even with Covid in full swing. Got the wheels mounted and balanced with zero issues.

When rolling the fenders I made them almost flat in the back just to ensure I had zero rubbing.

I had to lift the car a up a bit to stop the fronts from rubbing. Make sure if your Miata is slammed you can get the coilover collars loose. I had to use a vice to break mine loose.

Latest in the modifications courtesy of Goodwin Racing, I had no intentions of updating the wheels when I first purchased the vehicle almost a year ago. I recently added some racing stripes that I installed using matte gray 3m 1080 vinyl. Glancing at recent sales on the GWR site, I saw these Konig Hypergrams on sale...and in matte gray! Some photoshopping later, I saw that they would look very nice along with the striping (at least I hoped so). This was the first major mod that I had to entrust to an auto repair/wheel shop, and I was lucky in that I chose one of the best in the area, and one recommended by a lot of Miata owners in the Raleigh area. They did a perfect job of installation, and then aligning to the specs recommended (-1.5 degrees on the original tires). They look gorgeous! The only change I'd make is that for next time, I think I'll increase the tire size to 215's vs. the original 205's. Fit is not a problem, but I think they'd look even better with a slightly wider tier on the 17x8 wheels.
