DESCRIPTION

The long awaited updated Feal 441 coilovers are here!

The 441 Coilover is Feal's standard one-way adjustable monotube damper assembled and valved by Feal here in the USA. We worked with Feal to bring all of the features and details that you want to provide the BEST street performance coilover for the money. Intended for both street use and the occasional autocross or track day. Careful work and countless hours of tuning have gone into providing excellent performance and ride quality.

Ships with 8kg front and 5kg rear spring rates.

The Feal 441 coilovers feature street oriented valving that is less digressive than the Road Race specification. This means road imperfections are soaked up and the ride will be smoother. Don't be fooled, these will still perform great for the occasional autocross or track day.

Features:
- One way adjustable, 30 click spectrum
- Monotube
- Top hats included
- Feal brand springs
- Assembled in house, U.S.A.

Feal Suspension 441 Monotube Coilovers

Love these!! Have put on a few hundred miles and feel that they have settled in nicely. For street, I have them set 1 click from full soft and it is definitely solid, but not so stiff that your fillings will rattle out. Haven't done a track day yet, but I suspect I will continue to be thrilled with these coilovers. Install was pretty straight-forward (a pickle-fork is key for removing the rears). Pre-load was already dialed in, so only adjusted ride height (am currently at 13" on all 4 corners on stock 16" wheels). Only complaint is the rebound is a little unsettling over extreme road imperfections. Happy to support a domestic company and excited to continue dialing these in. As always, thanks to Goodwin for providing excellent products and crazy fast delivery!

The Feal coil over kit has drastically changed the look and feel of my MX-5. I dropped the ride height 1.25-1.5 inches to make each fender sit 25in from the ground. This slight change made the car look much more aggressive without sacrificing drivability.

Upon taking the car on back roads I noticed I have had to delay my steering input. I didnt realize how slow the car was to change directions until after the delay way gone. It is ready to rotate and just darts into corners. I feel I can predict and choose whether or not to oversteer and when the rear tires break loose, the car still feels completely in control.

Im very happy with this suspension upgrade and will not be reinserting my trunk trim, because I like seeing the rear top hats. Ive left the dampers set to the delivered 15 clicks and the car feels planted and comfortable enough to enjoy the ride. I will be changing this up to experience how changes effect the performance and feel.

Owned these for about 5 months now.

When I first spoke with Goodwin Racing I asked them to recommend a suspension system that I could fully independently modify the spring rate from the right height and the dampening ratios. I also made sure to mention that I use the car as a daily driver and commute on the freeway about 1 hr 15 minutes each direction so I wanted something I could dial back from my commute but then turn up for more spirited non-track winding road riding. The 441's were a perfect recommendation they are just enough that when I turn the damping completely off I can take it on the freeway and experience complete comfort (I've actually since adjusted to about 7 clicks up from 0, 30 being the highest). Since to be honest about 90% of my driving maybe even more is on my commute to and from work, I am already ready to say that I am all over this and satisfied with this decision on these components, and will gladly except whatever sacrifice I give up on the track. My shop started it at 1 in lower than stock ride height, and I can still leave driveways without pulling that slow awkward diagonal approach thing that lower cars need to do. I find 3 complete turns (probably about 21/30 clicks) to be a great 'spirited driving' setting.
