Thank you. You have rated this product.

MEDIUM Stiffness Bumpstop, length 36mm. As used for the FRONT in our Sport bumpstop kit for lowered MX5s. Allows maximum suspension travel before engaging the bumpstop.

Did you know that Mazda designed the NC to corner on the bump stops like the earlier cars? Now you can eliminate the factory understeer!

The right bump stop setup combines different lengths and densities front and rear to achieve proper neutral handling for your car. See our guide below to pick the right combination of bumpstops front and rear for your application. We use high-quality materials in our stops to add suspension travel and comfort while maximizing grip and performance.

Same bumpstops fit cars with Koni, Bilstein, KYB, and Tokico shocks, and your choice of lowering spring. Sold individually, price is for ONE bumpstop. You need TWO front and TWO rear bumpstops.

Recommended bumpstop combinations:

SPORT for LOWERED 06+ MX5s: 36mm front, 58mm White rear

SPORT for NON-LOWERED 06+ MX5s: 58mm Red front, 58mm White rear

COMFORT for NON-LOWERED 06+ MX5s: 58mm White front, 76mm Red rear

STOCK Class Autocross 06+ MX5s: 58mm Red front, 58mm White rear, AND Racing Beat front sway bar

If your MX5 is lowered by more than 1.5" then you are in the LOWERED category. The Comfort combination uses longer bumpstops that engage in a softer manner than the shorter bumpstops used in the Sport combos. The sport combinations allow for more free suspension travel before you hit the bumpstop, but they are a bit firmer than the Comfort option. All of our bumpstops ride better than the factory bumpstops.

I think that Brian Goodwin is the perfect example of what is good about the aftermarket industry. He is one of the few vendors that actually cares about his customers. He is the example that all companies should be trying to emulate when it comes to customer service. Not to mention his ingenuity and desire to improve on what is already a great car. I have never had a "bad" experience with Good-win-racing. Well, except for the constant temptation to SPEND MORE MONEY.

Thanks for making this work and providing great customer service! I had a full weekend with the install, but man was it worth it. The flywheel was such a good choice. I can't believe how much easier rev-matching down shifts are. The ACT is surprisingly easy to live with, even with the engagement point very low. I'll tackle that when it stops raining. Thanks again for making this happen this weekend.
