DESCRIPTION

The next best thing to seam welding, these stiffen the uni-body in all aspects. These braces join the thinner fender material up near the front shock towers into the stout core of the uni-body via four locations, which helps reduce cowl shake and strengthens the shock tower area. p> Constructed with square tubing that offers the best torsion stiffness via uniform geometry and larger cross sectional area, yielding better tension and compression than plate and rectangular styles while offering the lowest weight to strength ratio. The main tube directly ties the the lower door hinge, the stiffest area of the uni-body, to the upper mounting point of the fender, area of the least structure.

The triangulated center of the brace transfers load across the entire section of the fender area. The braces is keep close to the chassis to help eliminate flexing between the four mounting locations.

Square tubing design
Laser cut and CNC formed mounting areas
TIG and MIG welded
Red powder coated
Hardware included
Lightweight design 3lbs each.

Fenders will need to be removed for installation. Fits both NA and NB models.

These are made to order. Please allow 3-4 weeks.

Ryan's Notes:
Other braces in this category can weigh as much as boat anchors! Ouch. A good brace design balances strength with light weight. Nobody wants to add a dozen or more pounds to the nose of their Miata! These braces by V8R offer the best weight to stiffness balance of any option on the market, coming in at just 3 pounds each, 6 pounds total.
