ACT's 6-puck sprung hub clutch disc paired with their heavy duty pressure plate makes for a combo that can hold up to 400 ft-lbs of torque! (remember torque rating is at the flywheel, not at the wheels). This is the clutch for those adding serious horsepower to their MX5. The pucked clutch disc will engage faster (within a narrower range of pedal motion) than the Stage 1's full face disc, so this clutch will be more work to drive on the street in stop and go driving. Expect the clutch to "shudder" a bit as it quickly engages when you take off from a stop - this is normal for high performance clutches that engage quickly.
Comes complete with Pressure Plate, Clutch Disc, Throw Out Bearing, Pilot Bearing and Clutch Alignment Tool.
This clutch is compatible with the factory flywheel. However, consider adding a lightweight flywheel at the same time as this clutch. If you're ever going to do it, now is the time while the transmission is already out!
