DESCRIPTION
This beautiful ABS plastic injected front grille is inspired by the grille of Mazda's show car 'Spyder' project. CarbonMiata turned this show car dream into reality. Looks great, improves cooling so much that our version without lights is now a standard item on all Global Cup Car builds for ND Miata competition use. Strongly recommended for our customers adding boost, shown below on our own Edelbrock Supercharged RF:
Perfect fitment on the OEM bumper tabs. This grille replaces the OEM grille and improves the airflow going to the radiator and engine bay. This is the version with halo ring style lights.

Note: Platypus front license plate holder is not compatible with this grille because it places the license plate over the light but we have our own Roadstersport license plate setup on this site made to work with this grille.

CarbonMiata Spyder Grille with Halo Lights
One of my earliest attempts at DIY. Strongly recommend looking at the online forum tips, they're a huge help with the cutting of the OEM grill and the wiring. Looks fantastic. Fit and finish are top notch.
Very happy all around. It's a quality piece and fit very well. All the clips lined up, and no extra effort was required to install it. I did have to add some extra wiring for the light switch to reach the cabin but that was no big deal. And it looks fantastic. Even though CarbonMiata says you don't need to cut/reuse the top part of the OE grille, I recommend doing so. It helps with maintaining the rigidity of the pice above the grille, and it only adds a few minutes to the installation time.
Also want to compliment Good-win Racing. They came up with a creative solution on my payment types, communicated very clearly, shipped it immediately, and provided excellent customer service.
Installation straight forward. Some of the retaining clips on grill very hard to fasten completely. Grill still firmly in place. Halo's come on with car start and fogs on with switch as required. Looks fantastic. Lots of compliments. Overall very good addition to overall appearance package.
Old grille was a little hard to get out but this new one popped right in, lights was very simple to hook up, looks to be very strong and made the front of my car look 100% better!
Originally I wanted the Grille with no lights I felt it looked like a cleaner install. I wound up getting the dual Halo version and I am glad I did. It comes pre wired with a switch. A easy install but I chose to run it directly out of my fuse box on a ignition hot line so they fire up when I start the car.
100% worth it. Looks killer and much better air flow.
