DESCRIPTION
A little less than two years ago, StopTech released the NA/NB BBK for the Miata. The matching rear BBK is now available, using the billet aluminum 2 piston STR21 caliper. Designed to pair with the Stoptech SPORT size front BBK.
Kit include necessary brackets, hardware and brake lines to complete installation.

Caliper - Billet/Anodized StopTech STR21 2-piston caliper: 3.5 lbs each
StopTech 2-piece calipers have the lowest amount of flex and deflection among 25 of the leading caliper models (including some monoblocks) from well-known manufacturers. This is accomplished using the StopTech patented bolt-in bridge, which is strong enough to stop distortion without sacrificing cooling through the top of the caliper.
This is a RACE kit with a super light caliper and as such there is NO PARKING BRAKE. Street users who wish to retain the parking brake should look to our Stoptech/Centric rear Sport size brake kit that includes fresh factory rear calipers.
Rotors - Slotted Sport size 1-piece
The StopTech Rear BBK is based on the NB Sport (1.8 Sport) brake size, so the new rear BBK uses stock size NB Sport 1pc rotors. If you do not already have Sport brakes, you will need to trim or remove your dust shield.
Pads
Kit ships with Stoptech 309 compound pads. These are a andquot;triple dutyandquot; performance street pad and can be used for street, autocross and LIGHT track duty. Pairs well with a street pad in the rear such as the Porterfield R4S. Race pads can be substituted upon request.
These kits are MADE TO ORDER. Typical turn around time from StopTech is 6-8 weeks.
