Designed and manufactured by Racing Beat, this high-flow Miata muffler is intended for all 1990-97 Miatas. The heart of the Power Pulse Miata Exhaust System is this 304 polished stainless steel muffler canister which must be matched with either the Racing Beat resonated standard connecting pipe, or their unresonated sport connecting pipe. This polished canister is equipped with stainless steel inlet and outlet pipes for superior durability. The 3.5-inch OD exhaust tip is manufactured using highly polished 304-stainless steel and is slightly oval in shape to provide a perfect balance and proportion for the Miata's rear bumper. Each tip features a subtle, bead-blasted Racing Beat logo to add the finishing touch! Now past the mandatory advertising stuff let me tell you why this choice is a favorite. Great bang for the buck, quality construction and it fits right EVERY time. The only complaint we ever get is that this Miata exhaust "too quiet" for some. Indeed this is the most conservative Miata exhaust of the choices we offer, just a little louder and deeper than the stock Miata exhaust. Next louder would be our own RoadsterSport. Next louder still would be this same Power Pulse Miata exhaust with the sport connecting pipe. Next louder still is our RoadsterSport with race midpipe. The loudest we have is the Borla Miata exhaust. Note that is you plan a supercharger that the supercharger adds so much gas volume to the exhaust that the exhaust note will get MUCH louder!
