Over 200 on-chassis dyno runs allowed Racing Beat to determine the optimum tubing diameter and lengths for both the primary and secondary tubes. Racing Beat also took the opportunity to experiment with various engine-to-header flange porting configurations and collector designs specifically on the Miata application. This development allowed Racing Beat to fine-tune the performance of this header to achieve performance that is superior to stock at all points of the RPM range. Racing Beat's exclusive cast, stainless steel engine-to-header flange features specially designed exhaust ports that transition smoothly to the primary tubing. Large diameter 1.5" OD tubing has been used for the primary tubing, and then collects into the 2.0" OD secondary. But, does NOT fit with many Miata supercharger setups or automatic transmissions.
