Having issues getting third gear when pushing your Miata hard? Might be worn out engine mounts. These genuine Mazda replacement Competition Miata 75 durometer Engine Mounts are 40% stiffer than stock 55 durometer Miata Engine Mounts. Simple bolt in replacement.Price is now PER MOUNT and your Miata takes two (so normal order is two).
BRIAN'S APPLICATION NOTES: In HARD track use expect about a year of life from factory mounts and a little longer from this upgrade. If you want something that lasts even longer, see our complete upgraded mounts with urethane bushings.

Genuine Mazda Miata Competition Engine Mount
These competition mounts tightened up the drivetrain significantly. No more issues getting into third. Much more predictable clutch engagement without the engine rocking around. When considered for a street car, this will add a noticeable vibration at idle. They seem to have gotten better after a couple hundred miles but the vibration will always be there at idle.
These mounts are great. I barely notice the vibration and best of all, Third gear is right were its supposed to be now. No more missing shifts. The passenger side was a snap and the drivers side was only a pain until I took the heat shield off the exhaust manifold. No regrets yet.
