DESCRIPTION
Glass Packed baffle insert for RoadsterSport Mufflers, cuts sound a few decibels when installed. Does NOT fit other brands of mufflers! RoadsterSport mufflers ship with removable baffles but for those that want even more control we offer these glass packed baffles. Price is one baffle, each unit is about 7 inches long and acts like a small additional muffler that slides into the tip of your RoadsterSport. All stainless steel construction for years of driving pleasure.
Thanks to lock washer 15 ft/lbs is enough torque on retaining nut.This is for folks that want to bring the sound DOWN for longer trips, etc. Uses same retaining screw as stock baffles.
Sorry, does NOT fit older RoadsterSport 1, Street Single, RACE, or any other brand of muffler.

Glass Packed Baffle Insert for RoadsterSport DUALS and RoadsterSport Q.
The glass packed inserts did the trick for me. Great sound with a bit of burble on the overrun but without waking the neighbors. It was going to be an insert for long trips. It may become the 24/7 insert.
LOVE the glass packed baffles and the way they toned down the volume after installing my header and midpipe. Originally I had just the Super-Q and stock header/midpipe and ran without baffles, but once I went with the Max Power header and HH midpipe the volume was way too loud for me, even with the regular metal baffles.
The glass packed baffles tamed the volume enough to where the system still sounds great and is louder and more aggressive than stock, but not annoy-the-neighbors loud.
My only gripe is the way the baffles look when inserted the muffler tips, but nothing you can really do about that. It will just take getting used to.
