DESCRIPTION
This is a recommended option for the RoadsterSport Max Power Header. This is an extension cord for the FIRST O2 sensor which does provide fuel trim data to the factory ECU. With both O2 sensors out your NC will usually run default map which is overly rich. Better choice is this first extension cord which makes extending your first O2 sensor to our RoadsterSport midpipe's O2 bung easy PLUG AND PLAY. Yes....we also offer the LONGER extension cord for the second O2 sensor. Note that the plugs for each sensor are unique so that it is impossible to mix them. Extension cord uses thermal insulated wire and factory connectors and care should be take to make sure the connectors do not contact the hot header because while the wires are thermally protected the connectors can melt if left in contact with the header.NOT CARB APPROVED, CANNOT SHIP TO RESIDENTS OF CALIFORNIA.

HEADER INSTALLATION Short extension cord for prime/trim O2 Sensor - for use ONLY when installing RoadsterSport header.
Bought this a few months ago, and finally turned over 1500 miles since installation, so I can give a good review now.
My exhaust system consists of the Max Power header, this midpipe, the street single muffler, and the extra baffle for the muffler. I also used these O2 sensor extension cables. I installed all of these simultaneously.
I was an aircraft electrician for years, and I can say my cable was well made. I could have extended the cables myself, but the cost in time and aggravation would have far outweighed the reasonable price of this component. Once the cables were plugged in and secured, I fired up the car with no problems and no codes.
Well made easy install works well with header and mid pipe.
This made the install of the Maxpower header and mid-pipe plug and play. No check engine light.
It does the trick, but it really should be an inch or two longer to get it further away from the header. With a couple of zip ties and some metal duct tape you can get it far enough away from the header to be safe.
Nice plug and play for header install but could be a couple inches longer to allow better routing and the one for the rear sensor could be a little shorter.
