Tow Hook set 99-05 Red

I was really surprised at the value of this towhook. I've seen a lot of designs around. I wanted something subtle, attractive, durable and lightweight. Most of what I found out on the web from various Miata specialty retailers were very expensive. Up to 3X the price and just for a single front hook! This pair of hooks came packaged well, the paint is high quality and it's easy to install. You do have to drill a small hole in a piece of bracing below the rear bumped but it's easy to access (unless you have some really aggressive diffuser) and doesn't even require a jack or stands to access. I was able to slide under the back even with my car lowered and drill the hole needed. From there, just bolt on. For the front, it was easiest to remove the bumper but after that, just get rid of that nasty OEM hook which is heavy and ugly. This one sticks out just a little more for visibility but doesn't protrude much from the font. Looks really sharp, almost OEM and at this price, I'm pretty stoked.
