DESCRIPTION
This is the most economical solution for stock to lightly modified vehicles. The organic material is forgiving in street drivability and light track and autocross use. This is not to be used with vehicles running forced induction or nitrous oxide systems.The F1 Racing Stage 1 clutch kit utilizes a heavy duty pressure plate paired with an organic disc.
This is a complete set. Clutch disc and the bearing and alignment tool are included. Torque capacity 1.6 liter Miata engine /200mm size: 170 ft-lbs.
BRIAN'S APPLICATION NOTES: This is a decent bang-for-the-buck choice, but NOT to be confused with the quality of our Exedy clutch kits which better duplicate the stock pedal engagement/disengagement pattern. Those planning track days, autocross, serious power upgrades with turbo or supercharger should go direct to our ACT Heavy Duty choices (Do it once, do it right!).

Take Brian's advice and get an exedy. I installed this clutch and it made terrible noises.
The hardware included is just second rate and I ended up switching to a better factory unit. this unit made noises upon clutch engagement and on decel around 4k rpm.
very noisy unit. Now even with the factory unit installed with the f1 flywheel,
no noises at all! It's a low cost product but you'll spend more buying a new one to replace it! Not to mention dropping the tranny again!
