This completely replaces your stock Miata A-Pillar panel while incorporating pods for two gauges. Yes, more difficult to install but provides a pleasing OEM look in your Miata. This unit completely replaces your existing Miata A-Pillar.Fits standard 2-1/16" (52mm) gauges Greg's install note: The description states for '99 to '02 cars, but do you know the simple hack to make this gauge pod fit the '03-'05 cars? The shape of the A-pillar cover changed and there is a support bracket behind it. When you remove the OEM pillar cover you will see the metal bracket attached to the A-pillar. Remove the screws/bolts holding it to the A-pillar. Once this support bracket is removed these gauge pods will fit just fine.
