Harddog M3 Hard Bar Black Powdercoat w/ Double Diagonal

** Expect some frustration if you are installing it yourself. **

The pics and description are a bit deceiving, I wasn't expecting to have to cut gaping access holes in the bulkhead to install sandwich plates for the lower mounts (the pic only shows factory bolt locations on the lower-most mounts, and the description makes no indication anything but factory mounts are used. The actual bar has kind of an L-bracket, so 6 bolts on each side, 3 of which are not factory). The center section of the factory roll bar is retained, requiring it to be cut apart and screwed into brackets on the bar. The plastic panel behind the seats also required a substantial chunk to be dremeled out for clearance on each side--not exactly 'easily reinstalled' as the ad states.

The installation instructions leave a lot to be desired. Templates for trimming the plastic and cutting out the center section from the stock bar would be nice additions. More photos would also be very helpful.

That said, the bar is of very good quality; the welds are good, the holes line up with factory bolt locations very well, and the black powdercoat seems durable. Once installed it is very solid and looks fantastic. Overall a good product at a good price, but the advertising needs some attention.
