DESCRIPTION
AEM's 21-765C Cold air intake fits the 2014-2015 Mazda 3 2.0L with manual transmission.The filter is placed in the driver's side wheel well, allowing the engine to draw cooler air from outside the vehicle which can aid in increasing horsepower. The mandrel-bent aluminum intake tube replaces the corrugated factory intake tubing, helping to streamline airflow into the engine. The tube is coated in a durable gunmetal grey powder coat to help ensure the system will look good for years to come.
Uses an AEM Dryflow reusable air filter 21-202DOSK to help minimize restriction as well as provide outstanding engine protection. Another benefit of the AEM Dryflow air filter s design is that it is washable and reusable with the ability to go up to 100,000 miles between cleanings, depending on driving conditions.
AEM's provided dyno results show an additional 6 horsepower at 4400rpm and 8 pound-feet of torque at 3400rpm over the factory air ducting system. Those power gains are to the wheels, not to the crank.
