Good-Win Racing has long been the leader in Miata big brake kits, selling far more kits and far more options than any other company. We designed the original FOUR WHEEL Miata Big Brake kit over a decade ago for the track users running lots of additional horsepower and needing additional stopping power. Our kits have evolved over time and now are on to the newest fifth generation of our popular kits! Our earlier version 3 kits met these many demands but we wanted even more longevity. Our Version 4 Miata Big Brake Kit went another step and set the benchmark for the best quality in every component of the kit, but came at a very high price tag. Now our Version 5 kit applies everything we've learned with super high quality components throughout for the longest lasting brake kit available for the Miata while also coming in hundreds of dollars below our Version 4 prices!

Our Version 5 Miata Big Brake Kit has evolved to an 11.75" rotor up front - the largest that can be fit under most track day wheels - and now features the option for you of either the most affordable rotor replacements available anywhere, OR the highest quality AP Racing rotors for exceptional longevity.

Wilwood 32 vane Ultralight rotor - straight vane design, great for the average street user that wants BIG stopping power but doesn't need the massive heat resistance of our AP Racing rotors. As a bonus, these cost less than $40 per rotor to replace!

AP Racing J-Hook rotor - directional cooling vanes and the highest quality motorsport grade iron composition. The directional internal vanes work on the same principal as an air-impeller, designed to extract hot air. As the disc rotor rotates, it pumps air from the center outwards. The AP Racing rotors also use the highest quality iron and manufacturing processes. The bottom line is that these rotors usually last our track users many times longer than the Wilwood rotors (thus, the greater entry cost is paid back in rotor replacement savings with many of our track customers reporting YEARS of track use on one set of these rotors.).

This FOUR wheel Version 5 kit includes: Wilwood Dynapro Forged 4 Piston Billet Aluminum Calipers in front, CNC aluminum caliper brackets front and rear, matching Stainless lines front and rear, Wilwood BP-20 SmartPads (dual purpose pads) for front and Porterfield R4S pads rear, scalloped aluminum front rotor hats, your choice of Wilwood or AP Racing front 11.75" rotors, DBA slotted rear rotors, and Stainless hardware throughout. This Miata Big Brake Kit fits all 94-00 Miatas! Also fits 01-02 without the factory sport brakes.

FITMENT NOTES: Fits most 15 inch wheels that are 8" wide and up... but NOT ALL. Contact us if you are not sure. Does not fit 15x7s. Does not fit Enkei 15x8s. YES, fits all our of our popular 15x9s, 15x10s and 15x11s.

After reading many other positive reviews on both the GWR and Miata forums I finally decided to buy this product. My main concern for many months was whether or not I was up to the task of installing the header. But with the excellent instructions on Brian's forum as well as several Miata forum threads it turned out easier than I expected. After receiving notice that the header would arrive on a Friday afternoon, I began the disassembly process. After about 3 hours I had the stock manifold out. Later that afternoon the new catted header arrived right on schedule. And it is a thing of beauty. I opted for the stainless version. Installation on Saturday morning took another 3 hours, although I could have shaved some time off of that but I was actually enjoying the process of double checking torque values and cleaning up my engine compartment. I already have the GWR catted midpipe, so that connection was a snap. I put everything back together, reconnected my battery, and went for a drive. NO CODES! Nice throaty sound with my RSII muffler, and a significant boost in power and low/mid torque. Another happy camper here. I since have added a M-E tune and I feel I have realized all of the gains that Brian has achieved on his 2012 project Miata. I've put several hundred miles on my Miata since the install with zero problems. This is the car that Mazda should have built all along. Thanks Brian.
