BEWARE: Cheaper sandwich plates out there do not have a thermostat. Just like your engine coolant, a thermostat is an important part in a cooling system. Running without a thermostat can prevent the oil from getting up to operating temperature quickly, or sometimes at all! Cold oil does not lubricate properly! A good oil cooler keeps your oil from running to hot, but you do not want to over-cool it. We consider a sandwich plate with thermostat a REQUIRED part of a good oil cooler setup.
INCLUDES the appropriate nut which you have to find separately with others, to fit the 1.8L NA/NB engine, or the 2.0L NC engine, or the 2.5L engine that is commonly swapped into NCs. Does not work on 1.6L (90-93) engines.
We use this same sandwich plate in the oil cooler system on our turbo NC. Fits both 2.0L and 2.5L engines.
