Hard Dog M1 Sport Roll Bar

DESCRIPTION

The Sport series of bars were designed for safety and low impact on vehicle utility. Chosen by Mazda North America for their Laguna Seca NB pace car and Mazdaspeed track car prototype. The Sport uses the same main hoop and rear brace structure as our Hard Dog's cage models and meets SCCA Time Trial and NASA HPDE safety requirements when equipped with diagonal bracing.

The M1 model is officially listed as fitting 1990-1997, because those years came standard with plastic rear windows, and this bar is not compatible with the glass rear window found in NB soft tops. However, this bar will fit all 1990 - 2005 Miata chassis when fitted with a plastic rear window convertible top. Not compatible with glass rear window soft tops. If you have a glass rear window in your soft top, look to the M2 models.

Compatible with Mazda Hard Top with stock latches. Compatible with stock seat belts.

Diagonal Options:
No diagonal, One, Two or X Brace main hoop diagonal braces.

Harness Bar Option:
An integral (welded in) harness bar may be added to the No-diagonal, Single and Double Diagonal configurations. A weld-in harness bar CAN NOT be done on the X Braced version, for the X Braced bar a separate Bolt-In Harness bar is required for harness attachment - see that item listed separately on our site if you need it.
