This listing is for BLEMISHED units of our RoadsterSport BBK Weighted Aluminum Shift Knob in RED color. Sometimes when we get a batch made, in the final quality control inspection after they arive here we find some that have scratches or nicks in them that we will not sell as brand new. We set those aside and are selling them here at a hefty discount - perfect for a budget project or a race car where the cosmetics of the shift knob are secondary.
These blemished knobs may have scratches, dings, or discoloration in the anodizing.

RoadsterSport B2 weighted aluminum shift knob

Fits all generations Miata/MX-5 from 1990-2019. Manual transmission only.

Brian's Big Knob! Designed on Brian's feedback, this CNC aluminum shift knob is internally weighted to give nice positive gear changes. Total weight is 385 grams. Anodized Red. Extra large 2" diameter gives you something big to hold on to when rowing through the gears.

Brian's Comments. From the early days of Miata through the present the factory knob has struck me as comically small. Over the years we have offered many replacements that are a little bigger than stock, but I have always wanted one that really fills the hand. When our Fiat 124 joined the fleet I liked the weight of the knob it included, though the 124 is based on the ND Miata and uses an NC transmission the knob is heavier than any stock Miata knob ever was. So we sought to replicate (and slightly exceed) that weight while offering a bigger choice that fills the palm even more, result glides through shift gates easily! Currently using this in two of our NC projects and our Fiat 124.

Black color version is same size, pictures below using black version to show scale compared to alternatives like 'Voodoo Knob Magnum' which is bigger than stock knob.
