Note that stock Mazda lugs are too short and fat and use of them in most of our Miata wheels will result in scratches even if you use a thin wall socket or plastic covered socket. All our miata wheel lug choices below are narrower than stock miata wheel lugs to help avoid scratching new wheels. In particular notice that the MCGARD spline drive lugs are actually two-piece design so that the part touching the new wheel does not grind against the lug seat of your new Miata wheels, and the included tool bottoms on the McGard Spline Lug instead of touching the wheel at any point.
