Coilovers are usually our first suspension mod for preparing any NC Gen Miata for speed, whether planned use is canyon driving fun, or autocross and track. Our Ohlins Coilovers are famous for both speed with comfort thanks to their unique Dual Flow Valving ('DFV'). That DFV advantage allows us to cut across the rumble strips at famous tracks like Laguna Seca Raceway and in the real world that secondary DFV pathway opens instantly to absorb sharper impacts from potholes. The result is speed with comfort and control and all that adds up to driver confidence at the limit and beyond. Shown here our 320+ hp Supercharged 07 cutting over the rumble strips at Laguna Seca on our Ohlins Coilovers.
Miata coilover suspension kits include springs and threaded body shocks (or sleeves with the GC conversion kits) to give YOU precise and independent control over the height of each corner of your Miata. The threaded body means that the outside of the shock tubes (or sleeve with the GC kits) are threaded like a bolt and this allows the threaded spring perch to be moved up or down to fine-tune the ride height. Want it level? You can do it. Want some rake? You can set whatever height and rake you want. We even have customers in heavy snow states who use our Miata coilovers to raise their Miata for winter driving and lower it for summer. And Miata coilovers give you the ability to precisely corner balance with your weight in the driver's seat.
