This is the lightest MX-5 clutch and flywheel package out there!

This clutch AND flywheel combo is just 16 pounds, a full 12.2 pounds lighter than stock combo... which means more power to the rear wheels. Holds 300 hp at the wheels! You will feel the difference coming off every corner.

Smooth engagement!

This is a single disc carbon/carbon clutch with a Billet Aluminum flywheel. It uses a stock style clutch cover but the friction plate is a light weight Billet Aluminum piece to replace the steel casting. This saves 3-4 lbs along with almost 2 lbs in the disc. The lighter the disc the less wear and tear on the trans syncros. The disc is carbon on both sides, which makes for very smooth engagement. The flywheel is aluminum and uses the same style carbon inserts as the friction plate.

BRIAN'S APPLICATION NOTES: This is the clutch and flywheel combo we use in our supercharged MX5. We decided to give it a try because my wife was not a fan of the ACT clutch. Pedal feels much like stock clutch, no heavy pedal here yet it works great for those with 12psi and more! This is a great choice for those who are stock hp now but planning to race or add boost. All the clamping ability of a full race clutch but as friendly to drive as stock replacement.

5 SPEED fitment only. BUT an ultra light flywheel and clutch combos includes the risk of transmission rattle.
