DESCRIPTION

The long awaited updated Feal 441 coilovers are here!

The 441 Coilover is Feal's standard one-way adjustable monotube damper assembled and valved by Feal here in the USA. We worked with Feal to bring all of the features and details that you want to provide the BEST street performance coilover for the money. Intended for both street use and the occasional autocross or track day. Careful work and countless hours of tuning have gone into providing excellent performance and ride quality.

Ships with 8kg front and 5kg rear spring rates .

Comes standard with extended height top hats in the rear for increased shock travel - crucial for the NA and NB and often an extra cost item in other coilover kits.

Features:
- One way adjustable, 30 click spectrum
- Monotube
- Street Performance valving
- Extended travel top hat design in the rear
- Feal brand springs
- Shock boots to protect the shock from dirt and debris
- Assembled in house, U.S.A.
- Rebuildable and revalvable in house, U.S.A.
- Independant height adjustment
- Corrosion resistant coating + Anodized aluminum parts
- High quality low friction seals and rod guide bushings
- High flow pistons (allows super high range of damping tuning)

Feal suspension is located in Southern California for services such as rebuilding and revalving and are easy to handle with fast turn-around times.

NOTE: 2001-2005 Miatas have reduced control arm clearance in the front. There is a small chance of contact between aftermarket coilovers and the control arm on these years. Check out our forum for details and solutions.

Ride Height Adjustment NOTES:
If you have used the maximum amount of height adjustment at the lower base but still want to go higher, then you can further raise the ride height by raising the lower spring perch. Especially in the rear, if you want to run a bit higher then you absolutely need to adjust height further via that lower spring perch, you cannot get it by only adjusting the lower mounting cup. We know that Feal includes some instructions with their coilovers that suggest starting settings, but that is generic information that ships with ALL of their coilovers for all vehicle makes/models, and you need to deviate from that for the Miata specifically.

Shipping note: These are built to order, please allow 2-3 weeks for these to be constructed.

Feal Suspension 441 Monotube Coilovers

Good:
Visually, they look like quality pieces.

The ride is really comfortable, almost too comfortable, even at the fully hard setting. I gradually cranked it up trying to stiffen things up and ended up at full stiffness before I knew it without any degradation of ride quality. Granted, the roads on this side of the Sound are in much better condition than in the City. It could be another story on rough roads. But still, this is a very, very compliant setup. Hard to believe these Swift springs are over twice as stiff as the stock MSM springs.

Bad:
This may be a general coilover thing, but the front height adjustment rings are right in line with the upper control arm making them tough to get the wrench around.

Really close spacing between the shock body and the rear half shafts. Since this is on an MSM, the shafts are thicker than a regular nb. So far, no contact though, so I guess it is all good.

The ABS attachment ring does not line up with the car's ABS brackets. You'll need to rig up a way to connect the two if you have ABS. I used a small L bracket from a local hardware store which had to be twisted 90 degrees to line up and then bore out the holes a smidge.

After getting an alignment to FM specs, the turn-in response has been a bit sluggish. Considering more aggressive alignment or upsized stabilizer bars next.

All in all an awesome product. Good-win went above and beyond in my situation, and I was very grateful for them. They sre a great vendor to buy from! The coilovers overall are impressive. The adjustable damping actually makes a difference, and you can dial it to your needs. I had a popular coilover option on before this, that I was not impressed by. Only reason it got 4 stars despite being a superb product, is the height adjustability is not as easy as they say. In order to keep preload where it is set at, you are supposed to be able to spin the shock body but i has issues turning all 4 of mine without a a pipe wrench on the top. This took a bit of the finish off, but the boot should cover it. But the overall product is great and so is Good-Win Racing- happy with my purchase!

In my opinion, the "Feals are great! Once corner balanced, was able to go through curves at higher speeds and higher gears, and it was like the car was on "rails" just smoothly sliding through the turns. Set the shocks at 17 clicks from hard, which seems to be a sweet spot for Bay Area road conditions. VERY VERY pleased!
